Trauma Response Training

Led by a former Combat Medic and PA-certified EMT, this intensive full-day course equips participants with essential lifesaving skills, focusing on "stop the bleed" techniques and other critical interventions to stabilize patients before professional medical help arrives.

The course combines a PowerPoint presentation with handouts, hands-on skills training, and scenario-based exercises designed to build confidence and muscle memory under stress. Participants will learn key principles from Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and civilian Emergency Medical Services (EMS), covering:

• Proper tourniquet application
• Use of hemostatic gauze & emergency trauma dressings
• Airway management techniques
• Hypothermia prevention
• Situational awareness in high-stress environments

Training Standards: This course follows the guidelines set by the Joint Trauma System, Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).

What to Bring: Pen and paper for notes; an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) is optional for demonstration (all necessary training supplies are provided)
